Report Details
The day was gloriously sunny and warm(!). We were surprised how well populated the area just over the dune from the parking lot was. M129, one mile south of the parking lot, was quiet. Good for us! The ocean was fairly flat, the breeze light, and we enjoyed a snack and a short snooze. Shells (clams, cockles and broken sand dollars), many crab carapaces and dime-sized ,clear jellies in the driftline. Four people and two dogs walking on the beach.
Conditions
Temperature: 65 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: 3.2 feet.
