Warm and calm behind the foredunes, but on the beach cold and windy. Ocean active with numerous large-ish waves. Only a couple of birds on the beach. Numerous waterbirds, including geese behind the foredunes.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 2.0 feet.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Shells, Styrofoam, Wood pieces. An unusually large amount of plastic flotsum. Perhaps a result of the resent big storm. This stretch is usually pretty clean.
