Two sea lions popped up, curious about my horse, and followed us along the surf for a short way. Only two seagulls, but shell "middens" gave evidence of their presence earlier. No pelicans today, but they have been active this month, both in flocks and singly. Several buzzards cruising fora meal, having no luck today. Seaweed oddly absent today.
