Sacchi Beach is an out of the way paradise with its own loyal following.
Report Details
Sacchi Beach is an out of the way paradise with its own loyal following. Those who could not find Shangrila, have instead settled for Sansaria, so called because, according to legend, it was thought that wine coolers washed up onto the beach. But so great was its beauty that even without the vino, visitors still made the worthwhile pilgrimage. It is very seldom that a notable event takes place here, but one is content that the only changes that mostly occur are the imperceptible geological ones. The waves roll in, the sand shifts, the birds (I wish they all could be California Gulls) do bird things, little rocks skitter down the cliffs, the waves roll out, and footprints appear, only to be swept away.Life there is good.Shells, kelp/algae and wood pieces in driftline. Shorebirds (gulls) moving in response to humans. Moderate human impact (10)-3 walking, 1 playing in surf, 5 clamming and 1 cyclist.
