Overall calm day on the beach.
Report Details
Overall calm day on the beach. Only 5 people and 3 dogs. Saw a bald eagle at the north end of the mile. There were some newish trails and drainage strips. Above one of the trails looked like a burned area and activity.
Conditions
Temperature: 58 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Wind Direction: NW. Tide Level: 3.0 feet.

Number of people: 5. Number of dogs: 3. Walking or running: 5.
Concerns
Driftwood removal
Apparent violations: People had been cutting driftwood and removing, not sure if they had a permit to do so. When I hit the above link it didn't seem to work..Vehicles

Bald eagle at north end of mile

Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam.
New Development
Steps down bluff, Bluff development, Drainage pipes. Not sure how new these are, but did see a new (to me) trail down to beach, also steps and drainage pipes. Will attache pictures. Also at north end there was a deck.

Landslides/major boulder falls.
