Report Details

As previously reported, there was an unusual amount of trash and debris, esp. rope - mostly intact, and we assumed it could possibly be washed up from the Crescent City/Brookings area which were devastated after the tsunami(?) There was so much trash, etc. that we ran out of bags and had to quit so will try to make another trip in the near future. Bones and hide of a large sea mammal on the beach. Twenty people (walking, playing in sand and sitting)and eight dogs onthe beach. Six vehicles on allowed beach.

We expected to find a lot of debris, tsunami and otherwise, because it had been quite some time since we made the trip to the beach, but to our surprise and amazement there was very little trash of any kind.
