Great hike to very end of possible area to walk in due to extremely low tide.
Report Details
Great hike to very end of possible area to walk in due to extremely low tide. One seal skeleton with no way to identify cause of death. One big (BIG!) boat or ship bumper that I will report to the tsunami information folks. Moderate amount of round plastic buoys washed ashore by recent higher tides and strong west winds. No concerns of note. Great time to take photos of an area that is accessible only once or twice per year.

Temperature: 50 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: N. Tide Level: -2.1 feet.
Human Activities
Just me, as usual.
Notable Wildlife
No seals, but signs of body dragging indicate habitat is still a resting place for seals.

Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Huge bumper buoy; possible tsunami debris

In 50 plus years of visiting this small cove, this is the only time I've ever seen it this calm.
