Comments:
We noticed several people that appeared to be clamming (or something similar) at one of the access points. We plan to research for next time if this is something allowed at the site (a wildlife refuge).
Summary:
It was a gorgeous day at the coast and there were several people out enjoying the atmosphere. The main issue that we noted at Cape Meares is the lack of trash cans--there was quite a bit of litter, but nowhere for people to throw things away--even at the picnic site.

As it was cold and wet, there were not many people out. Nothing was out of the ordinary. We were there less than an hour because of the poor conditions.
