Mile 167 - South end Siuslaw South Jetty Road - March 27, 2022

This is a beautiful, little-visited stretch of beach. ATVs can be heard from the adjoining recreational area, and two seem to have encroached into the prohibited area at the south end of Mile 167.

Other Activities: Two ATVs strayed north of the sign near Parking Area 1 that seems to say only street legal vehicles are allowed. (The sign is ambiguous. See photo.) ATVs operating south of this sign are rather noisy.. Few people come to this stretch of beach.

Apparent violations: The beach here is very clean, with only a few pieces of human debris that clearly came from the ocean..
