North Cove closed to visitors for the pupping season, so all observations were made from the cliffs. It was remarkably quiet. No obvious marine birds other than a single Pelagic Cormorant and Sea Lions on Shell Island and the reef. Some evidence of bluff erosion. Six people with two dogs walking on trail.

Well, I don't know if it is a major crack,but atthe viewing area at the North Cove headland near the bench, there is a tree that is leaning further over, and there is a break in the soil around the roots. See photo.
