The beach was relatively clean with some scattered logs.

The beach was relatively clean with some scattered logs. There were many, many gulls on the beach and out onto the shoreline. Our furthest northern point on our mile was barricaded by military from Camp Rilea with orange cones, a jeep and two officers letting us know it was a "live fire rangers" activity! We could not travel beyond their barricade.
