I am also volunteer with Solve and their adopt a mile program. Myself and 3 others collected over 50 pounds of trash.
Conditions
Temperature: 48 F. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: NE. Tide Level: 10.0 feet.

Vehicles
Notable Wildlife
100+ small whitish birds possibly snowy plovers or and pipers.(see photo) Grouped together at surf line.
Driftline Content
Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Styrofoam, Ocean-based debris (from fishing boats, ship trash, etc.). Decomposing Pyrosomes were present. Lot's of approx 12" pcs of yellow plastic rope.
Natural Changes
Erosion of vegetated foredune, Evidence of wave overtopping.

After this week of flooding and rains, the southern end of my mile is covered in debris washed out of the rivers feeding the Tillamook Bay.
