Summary:

There is a lot of erosion that occured over the winter.  It seemed like a lot less driftwood on the beach until I walked the tree line.  There is alot of driftwood 10-20' back into the trees, sand too.  The high surfs and storm surge had an impact along this mile of beach.

  • Pyrosome Pelagic Colonia Tunicates
    Found along high tide line.
    April 4, 2017
  • All along high tide line. Less then were washed ashore in 2016.
    April 4, 2017
  • Where once there was a hill now there's a drop off
Runs the whole mile of beach. 15 ft high closer to the jetty and only 1-2ft high at camp Mcgurger.
