Apparent Violations:
On 7/13 there was a group of campers with large open fire about 100 yards from the beach amongst the shore pines. The fire department was called and the fire was extinguished. There have also been beach fires recently very close to the beach grass. There was also a large metal tent frame abandoned on the beach near the end of Pollock St. Not sure if the owners planned on picking it up at some point.

The big change was the addition of new riprap that covers the ocean frontage on about 10 lots, most built.

Beach was very clean and uncrowded.

Did not notice anything unusual this visit. Tide as far out as we have ever seen it, lots of rocks exposed, shorebird flocks in migration, no dead birds or marine mamals.
