Number of people: 15. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 9. Sitting: 4. Photography: 2. Fishing: 1. I noticed that the large rock on my mile that goes from the cliff all the way to the water had human carvings on it. This did not happen while I was one my mile, but is new since my last visit.

Today I only saw marine birds. The majority were on the large rocks a few yards into the water. There were about 3 (give or take) dozen that were resting on the shore. They were undisturbed by human activity.

It was a pleasant day on mile 206. I am in the midst of a road trip and passed by my mile for my quarterly visit. It was relatively warm and the wind was fairly tame compared to my past several days on the North Oregon Coast. People were enjoying the sun and being kind to this mile. I did notice that on the large rock that divides my mile by starting at the cliff and goes into the water, someone(s) carved in initials and other items to the rock. From my recollection, most if not all of these carvings are new since my last report. Disappointing to see these alterations. I am including photos of the carvings.
