Notable Wildlife

Many living gullsMany seaweeds dying as is normal in the winter. Sand suffocating many species.

Beached Birds

Total dead birds: 2. cormorants. All black, narrow bills -- possibly Pelagic Cormorants.

Stranded Marine Mammals

Total stranded mammals: 1. dead seal, decaying at south end of mile, high on the beach. Signs of dogs & other animals clawing at it.

Driftline Content

Seaweeds and seagrass, Small rocks, Wood pieces. fairly clean

Natural Changes
