Beautiful morning for a mile walk! Tide was quite low and the tidepools looked healthy. Lots of anemones and stars. Sand has moved away from the 3rd beach completely, see picture. Several plastic bottles near the headlands on beaches 2 and 3, but otherwise pretty clean.

Notable Wildlife

Cormorants nesting on the large headland rock at the north end of the mile. Lots of gulls. Pairs of pidgeon guillimonts. At least 6 harbor seals.

Seaweeds and seagrass, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Shells, Wood pieces.

New Development

Bluff development.
