Report Details

The house being developed along beach 2 appears to be finished. Lots of small bits of styrofoam and plastic, mostly styrofoam. Nothing obviously Japan tsunami-related. Found a section of rope about 100 feet long and removed it. Noticed another long section of rope, with buoy attached, entangled in the large offshore rocks closest to Seal Rock State Park. It appears to be unreachable even at low tide and has been there for a couple of months.

Human Activities

Number of people: 33. Number of dogs: 1. Walking or running: 2. Photography: 2. Tidepooling: 19. There appeared to be a field trip at the tidepools; they were far away, but perhaps college age?
