SOLVE is an environmental non-profit, evolving from a grassroots initiative into a national model for volunteer environmental stewardship. Today, SOLVE mobilizes and trains thousands of volunteers across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Volunteers engage in cleaning and restoring neighborhoods and natural areas, fostering a legacy of environmental care and community involvement.

Estrella Valdez is SOLVE’s coastal connector. As Program Manager, she works with coastal leaders to bring their projects to life. Estrella is excited to share with Oregon coast residents about SOLVE’s annual initiatives and programs, and how you can dive in and make a difference!

During the info session, she will cover SOLVE’s annual projects, including the Beach & Riverside Cleanups, Afterglow: Post-4th Cleanups, the Adopt-A-Beach program, and their DIY events where participants receive kits for solo trash collection.
