Benefit Auction for Condo in Eclipse Path Concludes
Our benefit auction for an oceanfront condo stay during eclipse week has now concluded. Thanks to all those who bid on a chance to see the celestial event of the century, spend a week on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Oregon coast, and also help to make a difference for coastal conservation.
Thanks to an anonymous contribution by an Oregon Shores member, Oregon Shores was able to auction off a week (Aug. 18-25) in a fully furnished, oceanfront condo, located between Newport and Depoe Bay, squarely in the “path of totality” for the Aug. 21 eclipse. The rental went to the highest bidder as of August 1. We’re happy to say that the winners happen to be CoastWatch volunteers and Oregon Shores members. They are getting a great bargain, while all funds from the auction go to Oregon Shores.
