Motor vehicle travel is prohibited from the Tillamook County-Lincoln County line (45° 02.6706', Mile 247), southerly to Yaquina Bay (44° 37.0374', Mile 215), except for the following locations within the corporate limits of Lincoln City:
(A) A distance of 150 feet on each side of the westerly extension of North 35th Court;
(B) A distance of 150 feet on each side of the westerly extension of North 15th Street.
Walked the bulk of the mile with Wayne Hale and Starla Nelson. Beautiful day. Minimal debris/garbage (1 plastic grocery sack full as well as a piece of a red brick and 5 pieces of wood). Deposited collection next to the garbage cans at the Roads End parking lot.read more

No major beach issues noted as people were primarily walking and exploring the rocky shore. However, significant erosion noted on the south side of Cascade Head bluffs. Was pleasantly surprised to see both giant and bull kelp in the close-in deep pools.read more
