Report Details

A sunny September morning welcomed 21 beachgoers and 4 dogs to Mile 7, South Harris Beach State Park. Driftline contained mostly kelp and seagrass with a few crab and shrimp casings here and there. Several small Mesoglea blobs were also found near mid-mile. Very little man-made trash and debris was collected - likely a result of the Saturday SOLVE beach cleanup day.
