The dead jellies were only on the main beach, not the little pocket beach bordering Battle Rock.

The dead jellies were only on the main beach, not the little pocket beach bordering Battle Rock. The dead birds seemed to be varied species in various stages of decay. I could not identify any of them. The dead fish may have been from fishermen. This beach is strikingly different from the Battle Rock beach. I saw no signs of erosion.

Temperature: 49 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 3.41 feet.

Total dead birds: 23.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
2 dead fish, about 12 jellyfish type things.
Driftline Content
The dead jellies were only on the main beach, not the little pocket beach bordering Battle Rock. The dead birds seemed to be varied species in various stages of decay. I could not identify any of them. The dead fish may have been from fishermen.
Natural Changes
This beach is strikingly different from the Battle Rock beach. I saw no signs of erosion.

A larger jelly, size 13 foot for scale.
Shiny jelly
The most intact beached bird seen. I cannot identify it. No leg bands.
No erosion on the Port Beach, not like the Battle Rock beach.
