View south over survey area from the So. Columbia River Jetty.
Lots of dune erosion - note near-vertical dunes.
Compare this photo with photos taken over the last few month. The tree that was continually eroded over the last year or so is now completely gone.
Tree is gone - compare to other photos from previous months.
In previous months this section was full of drift wood. But now it's all been pushed northward along the beach. See next photo.
It appears this driftwood was spread to the north during the last year but now it's all been piled-up south of where it use to be.
