This tree was a couple meters away from the beach and now it's being eroded on to the beach indicative of the rapid rate of erosion along the Ft. Stevens Beach approx. 1-2 ft/year.
Looking south. Beach is taking on a more characteristic, less steep, summer profile. Photo taken approx. 1/2 south of the So. Columbia River Jetty.
