A very sunny day with lots of human and horse activity on our beach mile. We picked up styrofoam on our way back at the high tide line, but filled our large garbage bag fairly quickly and will need to go back again soon.

Temperature: 68 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Wind Direction: SW. Tide Level: 1.1 feet.

Number of people: 25. Number of dogs: 4. Walking or running: 3. Playing in surf: 6. Playing in sand: 10. Sitting: 4. Surfing: 2. There were five horse trailers at the beach access point and horses on the beach. Several families sitting/playing in sand.

Cormorants were in abundance today and a few seagulls

There was a large carcass of a fish--probably a sturgeon
