Many more birds than usual on our mile; streams of pelicans and cormorants cruising the water and several bald eagles eating on the carcass of a baby seal.

Many more birds than usual on our mile; streams of pelicans and cormorants cruising the water and several bald eagles eating on the carcass of a baby seal. We couldn't identify what had happened to the seal. We walked a ways with a group of boy scouts and leaders from Washington doing 50 miles total over a number of days. There was no manmade litter and driftwood is increasing over the last few visits.
