Activities
Types of Activities: Walking/Running, Fishing/Clamming/Harvesting.
Number of people: 16. Number of dogs: 1.
Other Activities: large group picnicking and playing ball game. There were about 20. They were not there when we first came onto the beach. Oregon State park personnel had the person leave. Wasn't close enough to see exactly what happened as we were just coming onto the beach. Warned a group of people about the dangers of sneaker waves. In my opinion they were allowing very young children near the surf when the adults were some distance away..

Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Wood pieces. Very little litter. Picked up what was there.

It is always interesting to walk from Clatsop Plains/South Gearhart towards the estuary as cars are prohibited on this stretch of beach.
