A large number of dead ochre stars with lesions and a landslide were the most important observations from today. Intertidal areas otherwise full of life. Spotted a few nudibranchs and a mottled star.

Temperature: 63 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -1.6 feet.

Black oystercatchers, sea stars, anemones, nudibranchs, common murres, pigeon guillemots, cormorants.
Dead Fish or Invertebrates
Unusual concentration. At least 40 dead sea stars. Lesions observed in most.

Landslides/major boulder falls. A new major slide in a marine debris survey area.

Amazing tidepool finds this morning - alabaster nudibranch, juvenile sunflower sea star, a cave wall covered in juvenile 6 rayed sea stars, and another wall covered in stiff footed cucumbers.
