Report Details

It was a sunny and windy Saturday at Haystack Rock. Typical crowds coming and going from the Marine Garden, many people birdwatching and tidepooling. HRAP (Haystack Rock Awareness Program) was on the beach. The beach was smooth and flat, all the driftwood logs are up near the vegetation - nothing new has washed in. A few freshly washed up Velella Velella but mostly singles, no mass stranding. Some old ones, too, that are clear and crispy, blowing in the wind.
