Mile 308 Report
Arch Cape (community), Asbury Creek
July 5, 2025
Overall the beach appeared very clean and well taken care of especially after a holiday that is known for leftover trash and litter on beaches.
Report Details
Overall the beach appeared very clean and well taken care of especially after a holiday that is known for leftover trash and litter on beaches. With that being said there was still a lot of leftover firework debris which is not good given the legality of fireworks on Oregon beaches. The wrack line contained many washed up Moon Jellyfish of all sizes along the entire mile, as well as many sand dollar remnants. I also observed the remnants of a landslide on the southern part of the mile. While I'm not sure if this is new or old it seemed important to note. Other than that there were no major shoreline modifications or natural changes of note.
