It was a beautiful morning on the beach.
Report Details
It was a beautiful morning on the beach. The two bald eagles perched in the spruce tree were exciting to see. The sand levels seem to be higher than usual for this early in the year. I saw two pairs of bald eagles in the air yesterday (6-6-09). I also saw about 40 brown pelicans flying along the coast.

The wrack line contained small (2-4") crab casings, clam shells and broken sand dollars. There was a small land slide near a house drain line - see picture. The sand level was low on the north end of mile 307 which leaves the rocks uncovered.
