20 people were observing the barnacles and sea anemones on Arch Cape and enjoying the good weather. There were 8 people walking on the south end of mile 307. The 50 pelicans on the beach were near Cedar Creek at low tide. I could see about 100 pelicans on Gull Rock. Pelicans were observed daily during my week long visit to Cove Beach. On 9-16 and 9-18-24 at low tide, I saw 30 sea stars on the large rock about 50 feet south of Arch Cape.

Notable Wildlife
There were about 50 brown pelicans on the beach.

The north end of the mile 307 beach had jelly fish covering much of the sand. I looked at the beach again on Sept.

It was good to see the migrating pelicans and murres back in Cove Beach.
