Report Details

Many people were out on a sunny day enjoying this section of the state park beach. This mile of the coast was very clean with only natural debris in the wrack line and on the wet sand. The vegetated foredune erosion was the most significant feature along with large amounts of large driftwood in the dry sand above the wrack line.

Conditions

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 6.5 feet.

Activities

Number of people: 51. Number of dogs: 9.

Other Activities: 15 people were having a birthday party on the dry sand with chairs & fire pit..

From the entrance to the beach from the state park, walking north, I saw about 40 people, eight dogs, three horses, lots of washed up upside-down crabs, and several small beached jellyfish.
