Quiet - saw bald eagle and also osprey flying over ocean. Very few seagulls - beach appears to be returning after sand loss this winter.

Dune modification/removal, Sand removal. Beach grasses were removed @ beach edge but are returning now.
Natural Changes
Landslides/major boulder falls, Major cracks appearing in bluffs, Newly exposed roots/trees falling, Visible retreat of solid bluff. All above were down near Rockaway Beach (town)

It was a gorgeous sunny but quite cold afternoon, with a brisk wind from the northeast blowing sand toward the surf across a wide low-tide beach.
