I was out of town so didn’t walk the beach for a couple of weeks. Fairly significant amounts of eelgrass are still accumulating on the beach each day. Far fewer dead jellyfish observed. Several pieces of sea nettles, and 4 whole + 18 small to half size pieces of translucent jellyfish today.

Conditions

Temperature: 64 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 3.31 feet.

Human Activities

Lots of people having fun in the sun on the beach. On the jetty: 11 cars, 2 motor bikes, 9 people People on the beach 9 walking 19 Sitting/playing on the sand 10 playing a game of football 5 playing in the surf 5 dogs No problems observed

Apparent violations: N/A.
