The wind has been out of the west which has blown the Velella velella onto the beach.
Report Details
The wind has been out of the west which has blown the Velella velella onto the beach. Only a few had the typical blue body; the others were clear. They are on the small side making me think they are immature. In years past they have their appearance later in the spring.
Conditions
Temperature: 47 F. Cloud Cover: Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 3.23 feet.
