Other Activities: Tire tracks present likely from legitimate beach patrol. Truck not seen. One dog on leash. one off leash. Both at waters edge..
Notable Wildlife
Two small flocks sanderlings (20-30) birds around eel grass mounds. I think feeding on copious sand fleas?? 2 dead common Murre. see photos. No apparent injury. Of note their feet (when I was checking for bands) were tangled in Eel grass. Was this pre or post mortem?? Cause of death? One Murre at shores edge. Standing. Not responding to approach of humans. Called number below with GPS to report One unidentifiable bird. Red feet. Much decomposition/decay. no bands Starfish on sand (unusual find on this open stretch of beach)

Wrackline Content
Small rocks, Seaweeds and seagrass, Shells, Wood pieces. Saddened to see... Copious Eel grass mounds. Fresh and older. Large clumps at high tide line for entire mile. (decreased in quantity as I got closer to Cape Meares Community itself (south of my mile) One very cool piece of wood I took a photo of. would have made a very nice garden decoration!!
