Mile 285 Report
Bayocean Peninsula, Cape Meares community and Lake
March 25, 2013
The uploaded pictures are from mile 284.
Report Details
The uploaded pictures are from mile 284. We didn't get to our mile, 285. Wood apparently from a temple site has been found in Oceanside. We suspect that the timbers mentioned in this report are from some type of religious site. The wood-working details appear excessively elaborate for a commercial building or private residence. The source appears foreign, in any event. Most of the timbers appear to have been afloat for a considerable period.
