The south end of Mile 280 is easily accessed from Happy Camp parking lot.
Report Details
The south end of Mile 280 is easily accessed from Happy Camp parking lot. There were always lots of small boulders to carefully walk over in front of this parking lot,It was low tide. Sea weed formed a line at the high tide edge. 12 boats were near the mouth of Netarts Bay. The once perpendicular cement column is lying at a 45 degree angle. The dunes in front of the Capes are increasing in size. The beach is quite clean. There were six walkers and several dogs.
