Small rocks, Shells, Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt), Wood pieces, Land-based debris (picnics, etc.), Marine debris (plastic, styrofoam, etc. washing in from the sea), Styrofoam. The driftline contained an unusual amount of dead Velella velella in some areas.
Man-made Modifications
Dune modification/removal. The road from Cape Lookoout SP campground to the beach is being restored.
Actions & Comments
Unlike previous summers,, the beach has not returned to its 'normal summer' level.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

It was a beautiful, sunny day although somewhat brisk. Some photos of recent erosion are attached.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.

It was a windy and cloudy day and hence the beach was fairly deserted.
