We saw our first sea lion ever in the area.

We saw our first sea lion ever in the area. It came on shore onto the rocks, and lay down to rest. No sign that it was injured or sick.The sand is completely gone from the campground area, rocks cover the beach, and a forest of previously buried trees is now visible. The only sand left is south of the day use area.

Sand is almost gone. A whole forest of buried trees is now visible, and rocks cover the beach next to the campground. The only sand left is south of the Day Use Area.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.
