It was a sunny but brisk afternoon. There were only a few people on the beach. The main observation was the dead adult seal on the beach by the Cape Lookout day use area.

After days of rain the sun finally made an appearance, making for a pleasant afternoon on the beach.

The recent storms and high tides have deposited a lot of debris on the beach - especially small plastic fragments.

It was a windy and cloudy day and hence the beach was fairly deserted.
