Weather was constantly changing: freeing rain, snow, rain, and sun all within the hour. Noticed large amounts of jellies and microplastics in wrack land without a lot of grass or seaweed. People recreating much more frequently in front of the housing developments as compared to the section in front of the Sitka Sedge Natural Area. Coast Guard helicopter flew the coastline twice. Eagle was flying around the Sitka Sedge area. People mainly recreating by walking, running, or playing with dogs...throwing them balls etc.

Concerns
Disturbances: Shorebirds moving in response to humans/dogs

1 eagle several moon jellies and sea nettles in wrack line.

Riprap in front of houses. Doesn't look new, but this is first report. Will continue to monitor.
