High sand load on shore - many rocks that are usually visible are buried. Wrack line near the cliffs had 8 to 10 sea stars, mussels, barnacles, and seaweed - appeared to have been knocked off by waves. Very dry - streams and waterfalls normally flowing to/across the beach are dried up.

Temperature: 60 F. Cloud Cover: Sunny. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 4.5 feet.

Notable Wildlife
25 cormorants, 15 pelicans, multiple gulls
