Interesting scientific device observed off the west end of "the Point", on north Roads End Mile 246, during a minus low tide. It's located within the northern boundary of the Cascade Head Marine Reserve. Update: Per Paul Robertson, with the Cascade Head Biosphere, it is a pH tester for monitoring ocean acidification.

Temperature: 52 F. Cloud Cover: Foggy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: -1.30 feet.
