Quiet, few people on the beach. Sand covered - little exposed rocks or stone concentration. Picked up litter, but fairly clean.

Temperature: 51 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Calm/Light. Tide Level: 3 feet.
Activities
Types of Activities: Walking/Running, Tidepooling.
Number of people: 21. Number of dogs: 2.
Other Activities: kite flying. Injured or lethargic pelican near shore, trying to rest on low rocks. Young man was throwing rocks at it. Approached and asked him to stop - he did and left. Called for possible rescue. Astoria facility was responsive but out of district - sent pic and video. Called Newport office - left message, no response..
