Very busy day - lots of people and dogs. Beach was very clean and sand covered, large driftwood pushed back. The exception was at the far end of the beach where rocks were concentrated - lots of agate hunters (see pic).

Number of people: 78. Number of dogs: 22. Other Activities: wading - 3. Very busy day on the beach. Just bits of litter (picked up). Remnants of celebration - roses and ribbons on beach and wrack line.

Notable Wildlife

nothing unusual.

Dead Fish or Invertebrates

Lots of pacific sand crab molts, snail egg casings. Possible rockfish carcass.

Driftline Content

Animal casings (e.g., crab, shrimp molt). Noted lots of fibrous, hairlike remnants on beach - looks like possibly casing of cellophane worms.
