Temperature: 55 F. Cloud Cover: Partly Cloudy. Wind Velocity: Moderate. Tide Level: 2 feet.

Human Activities

Unable to keep beachgoers back for very long. Hoping someone came to check on the animal.

Concerns

Apparent violations: Noticed sea lion on beach near Chinook Winds Casino. Captured pics from above/beach access point. People were starting to gather - I did direct quite a few to back up from the animal and most responded positively, but more kept coming. Called the strandings line and reported..
