There were no notable living animals or birds. Many gulls were actively foraging in the swash zone where there were plentiful pieces of crab and shellfish.

Total dead birds: 79. 79 Common Murres were beached from about 8 to 18 inches in length. All were deceased and in various states of decay.

Total stranded mammals: 1. A very large California sea lion is beached almost directly west from beach access 41 at Chinook Winds Casino.
