105 people were enjoying the warm sunny weather today A very large California sea lion is deceased near beach access 41. 79 deceased Common Murres were seen.

There were no notable living animals or birds. Many gulls were actively foraging in the swash zone where there were plentiful pieces of crab and shellfish.

Total dead birds: 79. 79 Common Murres were beached from about 8 to 18 inches in length. All were deceased and in various states of decay.

Total stranded mammals: 1. A very large California sea lion is beached almost directly west from beach access 41 at Chinook Winds Casino.
